Quick Check: Privacy and Use Notice

The short version

• The Quick Check is free. We ask five questions about your business to four AI engines, one time each, and send you a one-page result.
• We use what you give us only to run your check, send your result and tell you about Marquee. We do not sell it.
• You can unsubscribe from our emails or ask us to delete your information at any time.
• Your result is a snapshot of what AI said at one moment. It is not a guarantee of what AI will say tomorrow.

Who we are

Marquee is a service of Learning Circus Studios ("we", "us"). Our mailing address is 11316 Nancyann Way, Fairfax, VA 22030. You can reach us at [email protected].

What the Quick Check is

The Quick Check is a free, one-time look at how four AI engines describe your business. It covers five questions, asked once on each engine, and you get a one-page result by email. There is one Quick Check per business. You do not need to buy anything, and we do not ask for a card.

What we collect

• From you: your business name, website, your name and work email, and anything else you choose to add, such as your city or what you sell.
• About your business: the answers the AI engines give when we ask about it, and the public sources they cite. We keep these as your result.
• From using our site: basic visit information, such as pages viewed and device type, through Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and does not track you across sites.

We never ask for passwords. The Quick Check needs no access to any of your accounts.

How we use it

• To run your Quick Check and send you your result.
• To answer your questions.
• To email you about Marquee, including our paid checks and services (see "Emails from us" below).
• To keep our service accurate and secure, and to meet legal obligations.

Who sees it

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the tools we need to do the work, and only as much as the job requires:

• AI engines. We send them your business name, your public website address and our check questions. We do not send them anything from your private accounts.
• Our business tools. These include our email and customer management tool (GoHighLevel / LeadConnector), our website host and security provider (Cloudflare), and our workspace and email provider (Google Workspace).
• Legal reasons. We may share information if the law requires it or to protect our rights.

Emails from us

When you request a Quick Check, we will email you your result and may send a small number of follow-up emails about Marquee. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link and our mailing address. We stop emailing you within 10 business days of your request and usually much sooner. We do not call or text you unless you separately ask us to.

What your result means

• AI answers change from run to run and from engine to engine. Your result is a measurement at one moment, not a promise about the future.
• We do not guarantee that any AI engine will name, cite, recommend or rank your business.
• The result is for information only. It is not legal, tax, medical, financial or other professional advice.
• We build it from public information and the questions we chose, so it may not cover everything about your business.

Publishing

We will not publish your business name or your result without your written permission. Case studies for founding clients are covered by a separate written agreement.

How long we keep it and how to delete it

We keep Quick Check records for up to 24 months unless you become a client, in which case our Service Terms apply. To have your information deleted, email us at [email protected]. We will delete it within 30 days, except that we keep a record of your unsubscribe request so we do not email you again, and anything the law requires us to keep.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including access controls and encrypted connections, to protect what you send us. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send us anything sensitive. The Quick Check does not need it.

Who this is for

The Quick Check is for businesses and the people who run them, anywhere in the world. It is not directed at children, and you must be at least 18 to use it.

If you are outside the United States

We are based in the United States, and we process and store your information here, using the tools listed above. By submitting the form you agree to this. We email you only because you asked us to, and you can withdraw that at any time by using the unsubscribe link or writing to us.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another place with data protection laws, you may have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to correct it, to delete it or to object to how we use it. Email [email protected] and we will answer within 30 days. Our questions and your result are in English.

Changes

If we change this notice, we will post the new version here with a new date.
